This is a rare opportunity to watch a complete Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery for Parkinson’s Disease live online — from frame mounting and patient positioning, through precise GPi targeting, to full implantation — performed under general anesthesia. Notably, all intraoperative electrophysiological studies, including Microelectrode Recording (MER) and Motor Evoked Potentials (MEP), will also be conducted under general anesthesia, offering a compelling demonstration that robust, high-quality neurophysiological monitoring is fully achievable in the asleep DBS patient.
