Dr. Camprodon is Chief of the Division of Neuropsychiatry and Interventional Psychiatry at Mass General Brigham and Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He founded the MGH Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) clinical service, co-directs the MGH Psychiatric Neurosurgery Committee, and serves as an attending physician in both Psychiatry (Neuropsychiatry) and Neurology (Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology). He also created and co-directs the first U.S. clinical fellowship in Interventional Neuropsychiatry and Neuromodulation, and is board-certified in Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry.
Scientifically, he directs the Laboratory for Circuit Neuroscience and Neuromodulation and is a founding member of the MGH Interdisciplinary Brain Center. His research combines neuromodulation, neuroimaging, neurophysiology, and clinical methods to study brain circuits and plasticity. His work spans basic to clinical research, focusing on disease-related networks, pathophysiological mechanisms, and the development of biomarkers and treatments, with the goal of advancing personalized, circuit-based therapeutics in neuropsychiatry.
